The information for the rocketry project and the assignments only applies to junior students in ADVANCED ALGEBRA AND TRIGONOMETRY or ACT PREP
Each Journal entry should be date and have the page number written on them.
Each journal entry should be a personal reflection of what you read, learned, opinions you have, difficulties understanding, feelings about the material, etc.
THEY SHOULD NOT BE A SUMMARY OF THE READING OR REGURGITATION OF THE READING. These are personal thoughts, favorites, dislikes, and reflections of a personal nature only to be read by the writer and Ms. Malone.
You should include mistakes, potential mistakes, important things to remember. Feel free to use colored pens, highlighters, and writing in the margins.
It should be neat enough for Ms. Malone to understand.
Half of your rocket project grade is your scientific journal.
Each entry should be one full page of writing minimum with at most a 12 point size of handwriting. Writing large to fill up space will result in you loosing points.
I have included page titles for each entry and Due By dates to help you stay on track, however, I will not take your journal up from you until the end of the project. You should be bringing it every day with you so that you can complete the second half of the journal where you will write about the construction of your rocket.
Please see the letter sent out to students for type of journal required.
Also, starting Monday, May 9, 2016, each day a student doesn't have ALL the supplies from the list, they loose 10 points from the final project grade.
